Dark Shino Glaze, color is customizable

The Boulders are sculptural forms that pay gratitude to the striated rocks along the coast of Maine. Handbuilt in stoneware and finished in a white slip with a shino glaze, each boulder carries its own form and scale—ranging from chair-height to low footstool. Masked lines interrupt the glaze, revealing striations that recall the slow shaping of stone by tide and time.

Though inspired by nature, the Boulders do not attempt to replicate it; instead, they serve as reminders of place, weight, and presence. Sculptures first, they may also function as stools or grounding objects in a space, blurring the line between art and utility.
