High Point Fall 2026 Recap

New Work: Partitions and Tables

This season at 313 Space, Lauren HB Studio introduced two new directions: handmade partitions and tables. Both extend the same attention to material and surface that shapes the wall work, into pieces that live in the middle of a room.

Creative Morning at 313 Space

On Sunday morning, interior designers joined me for Creative Morning, a drawing session built around slowing down. We drew mugs without looking at the page, took a line for a walk, and pushed stones in a circle with our Microns as a way of letting go of control.

The takeaway was simple. We all need moments to slow down, and we do not need permission to make mistakes. The drawings people valued most were often the ones they thought they had ruined.

The Work

The showroom held the widest range of work to date: woven pieces, framed works, and pedestals, along with wall stones, new to 313 this market, and the first tables and partitions. Each piece is made by hand, in a range of scales, finishes, and configurations for residential and commercial spaces.

The Conversations

What we heard most from designers and consultants was excitement about options that are not flat, not a print, and not produced at a large production house. Clients want work with a hand in it.

Handmade is not a trend. It has always been important.
