New Works, Expanded Collections, and a Showcase of Versatility
It's hard to believe that Shoppe Object at High Point was almost a month ago! Back at the studio, I've had a chance to catch my breath and reflect on this terrific show.
What is High Point Market?
High Point Market started as a furniture market for the trade, and has grown to include so many other industries, including artists like myself. The show attracts an audience in the tens of thousands, including interior designers, store owners, art consultants, press, and more. I first heard about the show ten years ago but couldn't find my way in until SHOPPE OBJECT opened their showroom in October of 2023. Since then, I've come to discover that the HPMK crowd is hungry for unique art and objects for their interiors. Here is what I showed this past April.

Exploring New Forms: Freestanding Sculptures
We pushed the boundaries of our ceramic practice with a series of new freestanding sculptures. These pieces explore organic forms and dynamic compositions, inviting viewers to engage with them from all angles.
- Boulders: We brought the love of the Maine coast to High Point. These handmade sculptural forms double as seating.
- Pillars + Small Sculpture Not every sculptural endeavor is big! Here, we aimed to make a playful showing of these fun forms with inventive ways to display them.
- Counterpoint We expanded our popular Counterpoint Collection, known for its interplay of geometric shapes and contrasting textures.
This is just a snippet of what we brought to market. Want to see more? Contact us for a our full portfolio, or visit our portfolio page.
